Q: Should I make a deposit to hold my appointment?
A: I require a $25 deposit to hold same-day appointments, or appointments offered during extended hours (early in the morning or past 7 p.m.). You may pay using the PayPal button below:

A: I have an office space on Old Harford Road in Parkville (around the corner from the Home Depot in Perring Plaza--this is just 10 minutes from Baltimore City). Periodically, I see clients at Holistic Massage Training Institute (www.holisticmassagetraining.org) in Baltimore City.

Q: How much do you charge?

A:
As of February 2011, I charge $45 for 30 minutes, $75 per hour, $110 for 90 minutes, and $140 for 120 minutes of massage.  Intuitive services are priced at $25 per 15 minutes.

A: I accept cash at my office location (cash only at outlying locations). You may also pay via PayPal on my website. I regret that I am unable to process insurance claims or payments.

A: Yes! I am happy to provide gift certificates for any service that I offer. Those are available on this website, or in person at my office location.

Q: Will you come to my home or office?

A:  I may, depending upon the distance. I am happy to discuss the possibility with you. A travel fee applies. (Minimum travel fee: $25)

A: Since massage has effects on the body such as flushing toxins and increasing circulation, receiving a massage when you are ill could cause your symptoms to worsen. Save the massage to celebrate your full recovery.

A: I would be delighted to discuss the possibility of speaking to your group, or conducting a workshop for your group or organization. Call me at (443) 803-4876, or send an email to Tanisia@GoddessWithinLLC.com, and we can discuss the details.

A: Periodically, extended hours are available. Call me several days in advance of your requested appointment time to discuss the possibility. There is an additional fee for this service. The charge for massage at my location after 7 p.m. begins at $100. A $25 deposit is required to hold your appointment time, payable via the PayPal button below:

Q:  How long should my session last?

                                                             Massage

If you want full-body massage to address each area of your
       body equally
,  then I suggest 60 minutes.

If you want to focus on more than one specific area, then I suggest 90
       minutes.

If this is your first massage, then I suggest 90 minutes.

If this is your first massage in a long while, or if you have
recently experienced emotional or physical trauma
, then
         I suggest 90 minutes.

Q:  How often should I have massage?

A:
That depends upon your goals and budget.

If you are working on a specific area of concern (e.g., a sore shoulder), then I suggest
biweekly appointments until the issue has been resolved. After that, you may consider
          monthly maintenance appointments.

If you are seeking massage for relaxation, then I suggest scheduling massage as often as
your stress levels dictate. Try an appointment every three weeks to see how you feel.

If you seek massage to bolster the effects of your wellness program, then I suggest
scheduling a monthly appointment for maintenance.

When in doubt, remember that more massage is generally better for the maintenance of
         your health.

Following is a quote from the National Institute of Health about massage:

Research in massage therapy has found promising results for reducing pain associated with chronic conditions  including migraine headache,1 lower back pain,2,3 fibromyalgia,4 and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.5The benefits of massage therapy may therefore extend to other chronic pain conditions such as tension headache.
